Hospital Information

If you are just accustomed to reading the blog posts from your email, then check out the actual website at http://babymartini2009.blogspot.com/ where I posted information about the hospital where we will be having the baby. The hospital information is located underneath the big, main picture of Brian and me, next to the pregnancy countdown tracker. This information will stay up there until after the baby is born and we have left the hospital, that way if you delete the email, you can still access this information. Thanks!

Hey chickie,
Just a helpful hint--bring a pump home w/ you from the hospital. :) If you are planning to go back to work that quickly, you will certainly need some help for those (probably multiple at that age) middle of the night feedings (think 11pm, 230am, and 6am). Start pumping as soon as you can b/c it takes about 5-9 days to get a good flow going w/ the pump for most women. And give her a bottle sometime between 3 & 5 weeks, the prime window for introducing a bottle. This allows breastfeeding to be established, but Bella will still be flexible about her eating habits. (Dakota was such a good eater from the start, we gave him a bottle at 2 weeks with no trouble.) Give her at least 1 bottle a day so that she is used to both the breast and bottle. And don't let this freak you out--you'll be tired but fine!
